SEVEN COVES Bass Club

Seven Coves Bass Club

20 years ago, we started to simply bring together people who shared a passion for the sport of tournament fishing. We’ve since grown to become one of the largest and most recognized bass fishing organizations in the U.S.

We are rooted in camaraderie through the sport of fishing with an emphasis on conservation, investing in our children, and giving back to our community. As a Texas B.A.S.S. Nation Affiliated Club, we stand by the rules and by-laws of B.A.S.S.

THE FALL BASS CLASSIC

Our annual Fall Bass Classic charity tournament is a one-day event that benefits the Kids Unlimited Foundation. The event is comprised of an open bass tournament and a concurrent raffle/auction, which is open to the public. In the last five years, proceeds from the event have allowed Seven Coves Bass Club to raise more than $53,000 for Kids Unlimited in the last five years.

Fish in Lake Conroe

Largemouth Bass

The weight record for a largemouth bass caught on Lake Conroe is 15.93 lbs. This particular fish was caught using a crankbait in 2009.

Catfish

Lake Conroe has a few different catfish species. Holding the record from the early 1990's is an 55 inch, 86 pound Flathead.

Crappie

2.77 lb. is the white crappie record on Lake Conroe. It was caught with a jig, which makes sense since crappie can detect small vibrations in the water.

Hybrid Striped Bass

When the sun comes up, this species retreats to deeper waters. Despite that, a 29 inch, 14.78 lb. hybrid striped bass was caught in 2002.

Bluegill

Bluegills are fun to catch, since they have the ability to swim in a backward motion. A 10.5 inch bluegill was caught on Lake Conroe in 2000.

Many men go fishing all of their lives

without knowing that it is not fish they are after.

Fishing is not just a sport or hobby

- it's a way of life.
